Colton and his team were EXCEPTIONAL in their work at our home. We had a big backyard of flat dirt and he helped turn it into a beautiful resort like feel. His communication was top notch – everything was well documented (check his instagram to see the process from beginning to end) and we always knew what was happening in every stop of the process. He answered all of our questions, offered his advice in our own projects outside his scope of work, and his whole team was just very thoughtful throughout their work. Colton and his team take a lot of pride in their work – they always kept a clean and safe work space, never leaving any trash or debris behind for us to take care of. Based on my previous experiences, Colton and his team go above and beyond. Overall, Colton and his team poured over 1800SF of concrete, improved and installed our new drainage system, extended our driveway, and installed our 22’x16’ shade structure with electrical hookup, recessed lighting and fan. Colton (owner) was probably one of the best contractors I’ve worked with. He was onsite everyday making sure things were done perfectly. You can clearly see he takes pride in his work and wants what’s best for his clients. He was able to work within our budget and was more than accommodating with questions and requests. We have a neighbor who has been a contractor for over 20 years and he came over and said it was some of the best concrete work he has seen with a focus on quality and a definite attention to detail in the finishing. Not only did he do amazing work but he went above and beyond when he noticed that drainage done by our builder was not set correctly. The builder came out to the house and Colton and his team walked them through the error getting them to agree to make the appropriate fixes and saving us a good amount of money. After seeing Colton and his team work I don’t see us using anyone else to help with our landscape/hardscape needs.

When our older pool deck failed, I was relieved to finally find an outstanding local company who I felt comfortable working with. Colton Ray was involved including on-site every step of the way, from explaining the issues, recommending my solution options, and getting it done even earlier than we had hoped. The old decking was safely removed from around the pool, and we love our new expanded concrete pool decking. We have since recommended CJR to all of our friends.
